That process of discovery is what makes creating so exciting—no two pieces are ever alike.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMy original mixed-media paintings are created with layers of acrylic paint, hand-cut and torn papers, and textiles such as lace, doilies, burlap, and other fabrics. I often incorporate charcoal, ink, stamps, and a variety of mark-making techniques to build texture, depth, and visual interest.
